Floor Levelling in Toronto and the GTA
Floor levelling is the foundation of every good floor, and it is what we do best. At H&H Flooring, we provide self-levelling and concrete floor levelling for interior slabs from 50 to 15,000 square feet across Toronto, North York, and the greater Toronto area. We flatten dips, slopes, and high spots so your new floor goes down straight and stays that way.
Whether you are laying hardwood, vinyl, laminate, tile, or carpet, a flat subfloor is what keeps floor coverings from squeaking, gapping, or cracking. We measure with laser precision and prep every surface properly before we pour.
Why floor levelling matters
An uneven floor is more than a nuisance. It cracks tile, opens gaps in hardwood, and makes any finished floor feel and sound off, in homes and commercial spaces alike. A flat, sound base fixes all of it before it starts, and it is the easy way to save a slab instead of replacing it.
A Flat Base for Any Floor
Self-levelling underlayment creates a smooth, even surface ready for hardwood, vinyl, tile, or any other floor coverings.
No More Squeaks or Gaps
A level subfloor keeps hardwood and laminate from squeaking, gapping, or cupping over time.
Protects Your Tile
Tile and stone crack on an uneven slab. Levelling first prevents costly repairs later, in kitchens, showers, and entryways alike.
Built to Last
Proper prep means your new floor performs and looks right for years, whether it is one room or a full commercial flooring project.
Our floor levelling methods
We choose the right approach for your slab, from a full self-levelling pour to spot grinding of high areas. This is interior concrete floor levelling, done to the square foot for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces.
Self-Levelling Compound
A pourable, self-levelling cement, mixed on site bag by bag with a paddle drill and poured to the exact thickness your floor requires.
Grinding & Scarifying
We grind and scarify high spots and ridges so the whole floor sits on one level plane.
Laser Level Surveys
Laser 360 surveys map every dip and high spot, corner to corner, so we level with pinpoint precision.
Floor coverings we level for
A level subfloor is what makes every finished floor last. We prep concrete floors for all the common types.
Hardwood
A flat base keeps solid and engineered wood flooring flat, quiet, and gap-free.
Vinyl & Luxury Vinyl
Thin, flexible vinyl shows every imperfection underneath, so levelling matters most here.
Laminate
A level, dry base for a clean, lasting click-lock install.
Tile & Epoxy
A flat, sound slab is the foundation for crack-free tile and a seamless epoxy coat.
Carpet & Other Coverings
Carpet hides small dips but wears unevenly over them. A level base helps any floor covering last.
Our levelling process
Every project follows the same careful steps so the result is perfectly flat and built to hold.
Laser Survey
We map the slab with a Laser 360 survey to find every high and low spot.
Prep & Prime
We grind high spots, patch holes and cracks, then clean and prime the surface. Priming is what makes the compound bond and cure as it should.
Pour & Level
We mix and pour self-levelling compound and work it quickly to a smooth, even plane before it sets.
Cure & Check
We let it cure, then re-check for flatness so it is ready for your new floor covering.
One levelling solution for every space
Homeowners call us to fix a sloping floor before new flooring goes in. Contractors and property managers bring us in when commercial flooring has to meet spec. Either way, the work starts with a site visit and ends with a perfect floor.
Residential
Condos, houses, and basement rooms across Toronto and the GTA. We level, you choose the floor, and your installer takes it from there.
Commercial & Industrial
Retail, office, and industrial concrete floors where flatness is a matter of safety and compliance, not just looks.
Why Choose H&H
Most of our work comes by word of mouth. We show up on time, keep the site clean, and stand behind every result.
